Hola a todos y un cordial saludo!

Me da mucho gusto volver a escribir aquí y compartir nuevas vivencias.

He estado visitando el curioso país Rumania donde he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas.

¿Sabías que una boda rumana dura 3 días?

Yo no lo sabía y fue una gran sorpresa que disfruté al máximo.

Durante esos 3 días, la ceremonia estaba repleta de símbolos y rituales.

Pues no sé si lo he entendido todo, pero es como cuando echan el arroz sobre los recién casados. No entiendo el significado, pero es curioso.

Así que el primer día nos reunimos amigos, vecinos, familiares, etc. para hacer unas flores y cintas de papel.
Y al son de la música típica rumana acompañada de algo para beber todos nos pusimos manos a la obra.

Y esto, supongo que no es lo habitual… je jeje… pero la novia se dedicó a peinar a sus invitadas hasta bien entrada la noche. La novia es peluquera.

Al día siguiente por la mañana asistimos a la boda civil. Después de eso regresamos a la casa de la novia donde estaban también otros invitados de ella.
Una banda musical se apoderó del lugar.

Mientras los invitados bailabamos, bebíamos y tomábamos aperitivos, la novia se refugió en su habitación para ponerse su vestido blanco.
Una vez de blanco recorrimos la calle con la novia y con unas flores y agua bendecía el lugar. También se ofrecía bebida a las personas que iban por la calle.

Ya luego más tarde cuando se presentó el novio, decoramos un árbol con las flores y lazos del día anterior. En otro ritual se puso el velo a la novia y se repartió pan y vino. Acto seguido nos dirigimos a la iglesia ortodoxa.

Después de eso nos fuimos al restaurante. Claro, allí se siguió celebrando.

Me resultó muy curioso que entre plato y plato se bailaba. Es decir, aquí se cena y luego empieza el baile. Pero allí te servían tu primer plato, luego baile, luego segundo plato, luego baile, luego tercer plato, luego baile, luego postre, luego baile, luego tarta nupcial, luego baile baile baile

Mi reloj marcaba las 5 de la mañana. Me lo pasé muy bien, comí todo. La comida rumana está muy rica. Bailé las danzas típicas rumanas. No es tan difícil. Es una música alegre que invita a no quedarte quieto.

Al día siguiente vinieron de nuevo algunos invitados a la casa y almorzamos juntos. Se colocó el árbol con las flores y lazos de papel delante de la casa donde se quedará hasta que se seque.

La novia es una belleza de mujer, pero debo guardar su privacidad y no publicaré fotos de ella 🙁

I am very pleased to write here again and share with you new experiences.

I have been visiting the curious country Romania where I learned many new things.

Did you know that a romanian wedding lasts 3 days? I did not know it.

During these 3 days, the ceremony was covered with symbols and rituals.

Well, I do not know if I understood everything, but it’s like when you put the rice. I do not understand the meaning, but it’s funny.

So, the first day friends, neighbors, relatives, etc.. met all together to make flowers an ribbons of color paper. All this accompained with the tipical romanian music and drinks.

This one … I guess it is not the usual … hehe … but the bride combed their guests. The bride is a hairdresser.

The next morning we attended the civil wedding. After that we returned to the bride’s house.
A band took over the place.

While we were dancing, drinking and taking snacks, the bride went to another room to dress her white wedding dress.

Once in white we went with the bride along the street and she blessed the street with water and flowers. She also offered drinks to other people on the street.

And then later the groom came to pick her up. A tree were decorated with the flowers and ties from the previous day. In another ritual the bride gave us bread and wine. Then we went to the Orthodox Church.

After that we went to the restaurant. Of course, in order to continue with the party.

It was very curious for me to see that we were dancing between the meals.

I mean, here in Spain, we have dinner and after that we start dancing.

But there you eat your first meal, then dance, then the second meal, then dance, then the third meal, then dance, then dessert, then dance, then wedding cake, then dance dance dance

My clock marked 5 in the morning.

I ate everything. Romanian food is very rich.
I danced according the typical Romanian music. It is not so difficult. It is a joyful music that invites you not stand still.

The next day some guests came back to the house to have lunch together. The tree with the flowers and ties of color paper were placed in front of the house where it is going to stay till going dry.

The bride is a beautiful woman, but I have to keep her privacy and will not publish pictures of her 🙁
