Hoy ha amanecido con el cielo triste y oscuro, con ganas de llorar. Pero este cielo casi siempre se consuela y tarda unos días más hasta que finalmente llora y cuando llora lo hace con fuerza.
Bueno, es que hoy estoy muy poetica. Me refiero a que con un cielo así debería llover a cantaros, pero aquí no pasa nada … sólo unas gotitas, hasta que llega el día y no para de caer agua del cielo.Con un día así, me apetecía dar un paseo por la ciudad de Málaga y me perdí por el Gibralfaro, la Alcazaba, el Teatro Romano, la Catedral, etc etc
No me dió tiempo a todo, queda mucho de Málaga aún por ver.
Pero aquí te paso un adelanto ….

Today, when I woke up the sky was dark and sad, looking like going to cry. But this sky always find consolation and it takes some more days until he finally cries, and when this sky cries, he does it with power.
Well, today I’m poetic. I mean that with a sky like this, it should be raining cats and dogs, but nothing like this happens here … Just a few drops. And then, some days later it does not stop from falling water from the sky.
Anyway, I like the weather like this and today I decided to walk through the city of Malaga. I took some pictures from the outside of the Gibralfaro, the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater, the Cathedral, etc etc
I had no more time for everything. There are still a lot of things to see of Málaga.
But here already some pictures taken specially for YOU!
There is a castle on the top of the mountain Gibralfaro. This is the place where I went.
In the past, a very strategical point to have the controll of Málaga and the ocean (Strait of Gibraltar).

Did you know that the Malaga cathedral is called ”La Manquita”?
Why? What does it mean?
Here the explanation with my own words:
Manquita comes from manca. And ”manca” is a person who only has one arm. ”manquita” is like saying it in a nice way; like Perra = Perrita, Casa = Casita, etc etc
I hope you understand.
The cathedral should have two towers, but one of the towers could not be finished because there was no more money for the construction. But specially this is one of the most attractive attributes of this themple, popularly known as ”La Manquita”.
I would like to have taken better pictures, but this cathedral is in the centre of the city surrounded by houses and I had not space to shoot.

¡Qué buenas fotos! No he estado nunca en Malaga pero guerría viajar ahí. He pensado que viajeré al sur de España la primavera que viene pero no es seguro todavía. Voy a viajar al Chipre en proximo lunes.

Y no te sentirás tan extraño aquí porque parte de Fuengirola le pertenece a Finlandia. Fuengirola es como ”little Suomi” jejeje
Y bueno ¡tú siempre de viaje! ¡explorando el mundo! Yo también tengo novedades de ese tipo. Me voy la semana que viene. Estaré unos días en Madrid y luego voy en Bucarest.

You’ve already seen a Moorish Castle, a Christian Cathedral, a Spanish Bullring, a Modern Seaport.
But the story does not end here. This same place was also part of the Roman Empire.
The Romans left their mark decorating the city with a Theater and The Arabs did not want to be less and they built a Fortress, La Alcazaba.
I visited at Malaga and Alcazaba. And of course I saw Cathedral too.
